Two days after Noah Mannausau and Joey Fankhanel were selected in the USHL draft, another Bemidji-grown player was drafted to a different junior hockey league.
In Phase II of the United States Hockey League Draft, Mannausau was selected in the third round with the 40th overall pick by the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders. Fankhanel went 14 picks later in the fourth round to the Waterloo Black Hawks.
