ST. CLOUD – The Bemidji High ÍáÍáÂþ» boys hockey team entered the third period trailing Monticello 2-1.
Then Joey Fankhanel scored to tie the game.

The Magic scored the go-ahead goal two and a half minutes later before Benji O’leary tied the game again with less than three minutes left in regulation. The 3-3 score held through overtime, ending the game in a tie.
BHS opened the scoring in the first period. Fankhanel gave the Jacks a 1-0 lead with 38 seconds left before the intermission.
Monticello scored twice in the second period on goals from Ethan Longley and Landen Scherber.
Bemidji outshot the Magic 37-34, including a 7-3 edge in OT. Christian Hill made 31 saves for the Lumberjacks, while Logan Blahnik stopped 34 for the Magic.
