The Bemidji High حلحلآ» girls swimming and diving team had a pair of consolation winners on Saturday as the Lumberjacks wrapped up their season at the Section 8AA finals in Brainerd.
Nearly a dozen Bemidji High حلحلآ» girls swimmers are moving on to the Section 8AA finals. The Lumberjacks competed in the prelims of the section meet on Friday in Brainerd, and BHS clinched spots in the finals across seven events.
The Lumberjacks tallied 19 of 36 top-three finishes, including 11 runner-up showings, but had just one event win as Detroit Lakes prevailed 100-86 in the dual.
Ueland captured the win in the 100-yard backstroke, clocking a 1:09.60 finish. Daman contributed a first-place showing in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:14.82, as well.
The Bemidji High حلحلآ» girls swimming and diving team picked up its second win in three days on Thursday, defeating Fosston-Bagley-Crookston 61-33 in a dual meet in Fosston.
