BEMIDJI -- The Bemidji High ÍáÍáÂþ» girls swimming and diving team dove back into action on Tuesday, but Park Rapids had the depth to upend the Lumberjacks 170-145 in the BHS pool.
Bemidji tallied six event wins, and Abigail Daman played a part in half of them. Individually, Daman won the 100-yard freestyle in 58.68 and the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:15.80. Daman then anchored the 400 freestyle relay team -- also consisting of Ryan Gaskins, Marley Ueland and Elena Harmsen -- to a 4:13.52 finish for her third first-place showing.

Gaskins doubled up atop the podium, as well, winning the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:49.70.
Elsewhere for the Jacks, Naomi Olson won the 100 butterfly when she clocked a time of 1:10.83, while Ridley Hadrava was the best diver in town with her score of 184.35.
BHS also amassed seven second-place times and four third-place finishes, but the Panthers had the depth to pull out the team win.
Bemidji will next host Park Rapids and Detroit Lakes for a triangular, which begins at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1, in the BHS pool.
