In one case, they began a tracking search that took about two-and-a-half hours and lasted for nearly 7 miles 鈥� through swamps, heavy brush, open fields and trails.
The man was shot in the hip/leg when his hunting partner鈥檚 firearm discharged while the hunting partner was attempting to ensure the firearm was unloaded.
