"United States House Representative John Lewis coined the phrase 'Good Trouble' to describe his peaceful protest against inequality and injustice," a release said. "Lewis died five years ago, and in honor of his efforts and in light of the current inequality, unfairness and injustice being instigated and done by the Trump administration, we will be gathering at the Bemidji waterfront area to show our patriotic support for our right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness in the land of the free and the home of the brave."
Rally participants are encouraged to bring signs that address a wide range of topics. Participants are also encouraged to bring flags.
Those with questions about the upcoming peaceful assembly can contact event organizer Ken Grantier at (218) 556 2571.
