By 5 p.m. Friday, the line was already growing for attendees at the event.

Ramon Nicholson of Apple Valley, Minnesota, said Saturday's event will be one of more than 200 he has attended.

Nicholson is a "Front Row Joe," he said. That is a term used for avid supporters of Trump who camp out for rallies. However, Nicholson said he did not plan to camp out on Friday night.

He said his top policy concerns include free speech, resources for veterans and bringing jobs to America.

Nicholson was with Alex Leider, 21, from the Twin Cities. Saturday will be Leider's first rally. He said he wasn't sure what to expect and that his interest in politics was spurred within the past year.

Doors at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center open at 3 p.m. Saturday.

The Trump fandom is not just at the hockey center; Trump merchandise tent were seen popping up on Division Street in St. Cloud.
