Beltrami County extends debris collection at landfill, Target sites

BEMIDJI 鈥� The Beltrami County Solid Waste Department has extended its hours at the two debris collection sites within Bemidji following the severe storm that passed through the area on June 21.

The Target site, located at 2115 23rd Street NW, only accepts tree debris from non-commercial haulers and does not accept stumps. The Target site is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. between July 12-13; 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. between July 14-18; and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. between July 19-20.

The Demolition Landfill site, located at 2331 North Plantagenet Road SE, will accept commercial haulers. This site will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on July 12; 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on July 13 (only accepting tree debris); 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. between July 14-18; and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. between July 19-20.

The county will continually update times as the storm recovery process progresses.
