BEMIDJI — The Mask and Rose Theater, in collaboration with the regional arts community, is offering a "Concert for the Trees Lost" at 7 p.m. on Friday, July 18, at Paul Bunyan Playhouse.
Regional musicians and spoken word artists will share their art as a way of allowing fellow citizens to come together and grieve the loss of so many of the old growth trees due to the recent storm, a release said.
Seats are first-come, first-served.

Our newsroom sometimes reports stories under the byline "Pioneer Staff Report." This byline is used when reporters rewrite basic news briefs that originate from official sources, such as an email or press release that requires little or no reporting.
Other times, this byline is used when a news story includes numerous authors or when the story is formed by aggregating previously reported news from various sources. If outside sources are used, it is noted within the story.
