The Beltrami County Historical Society, in partnership with the Northern Iron Horse Railroad Society, will host its second Train Days event on April 12-13, at the History Center.
The Beltrami County Historical Society is set to hold a "Caboose and Cocoa" event from 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 29, at the History Center, 130 Minnesota Ave. SW.
A section of Adams Avenue NW, just south of 15th Street NW, will be closed starting at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 3, while the railroad crossing is replaced. It is expected to reopen Sept. 6.
Updated 5:45 p.m.: The governor has visited the scene of the derailment, and residents are back home. Donations for short- and long-term needs are being coordinated.
