Former North Dakota collegiate swimming head coach Mike Stromberg brought his summer swimming camp to Bemidji with an emphasis on growth and inclusion.
The Bemidji High حلحلآ» girls swimming and diving team showed swiftness and stamina in the pool Tuesday, dominating Perham/New York Mills 196-116 and Thief River Falls 192-116 in a home meet at BHS.
Moorhead finished first with 800 points, with Grand Rapids (591) and Willmar (462) rounding out the top three. Bemidji earned 354 points and Warroad/Roseau/Greenbush-Middle River earned 97 to place fifth.
Bemidji senior Aiden Saari took runner-up in the Section 5A diving finals on Thursday night in Alexandria to secure his second consecutive trip to the Class A state meet.
