MOORHEAD – The Bemidji High ÍáÍáÂþ» girls swimming and diving team lost to Moorhead 94-82 in a competitive meet on Thursday evening.
Bemidji’s initial first-place finish of the night came in the 200-yard freestyle relay, where Abby Daman, Emily Haack, Finley Zothman and Elle Wille teamed up for a time of 1:45.68.

Daman also took home first in the 100-yard breaststroke, notching a time of 1:13.97.
The Lumberjacks picked up another first-place finish in the 400-yard freestyle relay. Wille, Zothman, Daman and Kiera Strodtman combined for a 3:58.15 final time.
Second-place finishes came sprinkled across the events for Bemidji. Wille was the runner-up in the 200 freestyle (2:07.72), and Daman also took second in the 200 individual medley (2:25.22). Zothman took second in the 50 freestyle (25.88).
Kennedy Olson took silver in diving (206.70), while Naomi Olson finished second in the 100 butterfly (1:10.05). Zothman was runner-up in the 100 freestyle (56.25), while Wille finished second in the 500 freestyle (5:40.97) and Anna Friedt claimed the final runner-up finish in the 100 backstroke (1:11.04).
