The North Country Trail Association invites the public to celebrate the North Country National Scenic Trail and all those who care for it during a celebration event Oct. 5-9 in Walker. Pre-registration is required by Sept. 14.
Being open to foot traffic only, Minnesota鈥檚 trail holds unimpeded travel for hikers, berry pickers, mushroom hunters, geocachers, cross-country skiers and snowshoers.
