While the first game of Thursday鈥檚 doubleheader ended in just five innings, the second game provided more drama. The Bemidji American Legion softball team pulled out a win in nine innings to sweep the slate at the BHS softball field.
The Blackduck High 歪歪漫画 softball team put together a historic season that culminated in a sixth-place finish at the state tournament. With plenty of those players returning next year, the Drakes' future looks bright.
The Bemidji State softball team had 16 student-athletes named to the National Fastpitch Coaches' Association and Easton Softball All-American Scholar-Athlete team.
