Buena Vista Ski Area rounded out its 75th season with a special ribbon cutting and program on Saturday.
The award is presented each year and recognizes an individual who has demonstrated a long-term commitment and support of cross-country skiing in the Bemidji area.
In honor of Buena Vista’s 75th Anniversary Celebration, Mayor Jorge Prince will conduct a ribbon cutting on skis at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 8, at the ski area.
The city of Bemidji Parks and Recreation Department has teamed up with the Bemidji area Cross Country Ski Club to offer family cross-country ski lessons on Thursday, March 6.
