MANKATO — The Bemidji State softball team suffered four losses over the weekend, losing a pair of doubleheaders on the road to Winona State and Minnesota State.
The Beavers suffered a 6-3 loss in Saturday's series opener against the Warriors. WSU captured an early 2-1 lead after the first inning and tacked on four security runs in the fourth and fifth innings to hang on for the win.

Game two was all Winona State. Pitcher Izzy Howe earned a five-inning no-hitter as the Warriors cruised to an 8-0 victory.
BSU's series against the Mavericks started with a tight 2-1 loss. Pitcher Kennedy Joachim was solid in the circle, earning seven strikeouts while allowing six hits and two runs. However, MSU's Sailor Hall was just slightly better, tossing all seven innings while allowing just five hits and one run.
Minnesota State comfortably won game four 11-3. Bemidji State's only points came courtesy of a three-run bomb from Mariah Stevenson in the fifth inning.
