Bemidji State hockey has 24 recognized by AHCA for academic excellence

Twenty-four student-athletes from the Bemidji State men’s and women’s hockey teams were recognized by the American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) for their exceptional work in the classroom during the 2024-25 season with the announcement of the ninth annual “Krampade AHCA All-American Scholars."

BEMIDJI — Twenty-four student-athletes from the Bemidji State men’s and women’s hockey teams were recognized by the American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) for their exceptional work in the classroom during the 2024-25 season with the announcement of the ninth annual “Krampade AHCA All-American Scholars."

Fifteen from the women’s hockey program and nine from the men’s hockey program were recognized for their academic excellence in 2024-25.

To qualify, a student-athlete must have attained a 3.75 grade-point average or higher for each semester and have appeared in 40% of the team’s games. Exceptions were granted to injured players and backup goaltenders.
