New Ulm man killed in Renville County rollover crash

MORTON, Minn. 鈥� A New Ulm man died at the scene of a single-vehicle rollover crash Tuesday night in Renville County.

According to a Minnesota State Patrol accident report, Jacob Samuel Hawn, 36, was driving a 2013 Volkswagen Jetta along Highway 19 when it went off the roadway and rolled in the area of Brook Drive in the city of Morton.

According to the , Hawn was not wearing a seat belt and it is unknown if alcohol was a factor in the crash.

The crash was first reported at 10:05 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19, near Minnesota Highway 19 and Monument Drive East in Morton. Road conditions were dry at the time.
