MILWAUKEE — Vice presidential candidates Tim Walz and J.D. Vance are joining a collection of more than 15,000 bobbleheads in the Brew City.
The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum in Milwaukee announced the designs of limited-edition bobbleheads for the Democratic governor from Minnesota and Republican senator from Ohio.

The announcement came roughly a week after Vice President Kamala Harris announced Walz as her running mate for the 2024 election. Vance’s bobblehead had already been designed, given the earlier nature of his announcement as former President Donald Trump’s running mate.
It also comes between the Republican National Convention, which was hosted in Milwaukee in mid-July, and the Democratic National Convention, set to begin next week in Chicago.
“There is no better way to support your favorite candidate than with a bobblehead during this historic 2024 presidential election season,” said Phil Sklar, co-founder and CEO of the museum.
The bobbleheads are the first designed in Walz and Vance’s likeness. Only 2,024 of each man’s figure will be sold. The limited-edition bobbleheads are available for pre-order and are expected to be shipped in December.
Sklar clarified that profits from the bobbleheads’ sales will not support either presidential campaign, but do support the museum and various charities.
Once available, Walz and Vance’s bobbleheads will be available for viewing at the museum, alongside thousands of other bobbleheads from a wide range of categories.

The museum’s political section features bobbleheads of past presidents, notable congresspeople, top government officials and even recreations of political memes, including Trump holding a map of Hurricane Dorian’s forecast and Bernie Sanders’ inauguration day pose.

Outside the political realm, the museum also features bobbleheads of professional athletes, iconic moments in sports history, pop culture references and world events.
