MOORHEAD 鈥� Following a proclamation by President Joe Biden, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz and North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum ordered all state and national flags to be flown at half-staff from sunrise until sunset Tuesday, Dec. 19.
The orders, sent Monday, were made to honor the life of Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor on the day of her interment.

O'Connor, the first woman appointed to the U.S. Supreme Court, died on Dec. 1 at age 93.
Individuals and businesses are invited to join government agencies in flying flags at half-staff.
