United Way of Bemidji Area raises $768,151 during annual Campaign for the Community

The United Way of Bemidji Area announced the 2024 Campaign for the Community total during its week-long Spread the Love event held Feb. 11-18, sponsored by Bemidji Brewing.

BEMIDJI — The United Way of Bemidji Area announced the 2024 Campaign for the Community total during its week-long Spread the Love event held Feb. 11-18, sponsored by Bemidji Brewing.

The United Way surpassed their campaign goal of $725,000 and last year's total of $725,360, raising $768,151.

During the "Give Where You Live" campaign celebration, United Way 2024 Campaign Co-Chairs, Board Members and representatives from local Pacesetter Businesses — including First National Bank Bemidji, Beltrami Electric, Sanford Health, Paul Bunyan Broadcasting, PotlatchDeltic and National Bank of Commerce — came together to reveal the final campaign total.

"Thank you for making Bemidji proud once again," United Way 2024 Campaign Co-Chairs Sue and Troy Hendricks said in a release. "We could not have grown this campaign without all of your support."

The success of this campaign was made possible by the support of local businesses, organizations and individuals who stepped up to invest in the future of the Bemidji area, added the release.

The United Way recognizes these businesses that received the following awards.

Employee participation awards

Awarded to internal campaigns with the highest total amount raised.

Over $20,000 in employee gifts and fundraisers:
