United Way of Bemidji Area launches 12th annual 'Spread the Love' campaign

Bemidji Brewing will donate 10% of all sales during the campaign, set for Feb. 11-18, to the United Way of Bemidji Area, merchandise included.

BEMIDJI — The United Way of Bemidji Area will host its 12th annual Spread the Love campaign Feb. 11-18, sponsored by Bemidji Brewing.

Events will be held throughout the week at Bemidji Brewing, 211 America Ave. NW.

During the campaign, Bemidji Brewing will donate 10% of all sales to the United Way of Bemidji Area, merchandise included.

On Tuesday, Feb. 11, from 5 to 7 p.m., Sundog Homemade will be hosting a Yeti for Love cookie decorating party, with 10% of the proceeds donated to the United Way.

On Wednesday, Feb. 12, Nature's Edge Floral will host a pop-up from 3 to 7 p.m. and United Way will offer a Partner Agency Social from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. for community members to connect with local service organizations.

On Thursday, Feb. 13, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., small businesses who have opted into United Way's 365 Business Circle will have a chance to learn more about community resources and network with local business leaders at a social, a release said.

On Friday, Feb. 14, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., attendees can savor two pints of Bemidji Brewing's Valentine Stout paired with a dessert and $1 from each sale will be donated to the United Way.

On Saturday, Feb. 15, Skarlett Woods will perform live music from 7 to 9 p.m.

On Sunday, Feb. 16, the brewery will host an all-day Sunday Funday event from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

On Tuesday, Feb. 18, from 4 to 6 p.m., the United Way will hold its Campaign Celebration. The fundraising total for the 2024 Campaign for the Community will be announced with a live broadcast from KB 101.1 and 95.5 KZY F.M.
