“We apologize for any inconvenience,” the post states. “This is a serious hardship for us.”
Table for 7 Owner Amber Lynne set up a — to offset costs associated with finding a new location and reopening.
“It is difficult to identify a new location in a short amount of time. We thought we had one more year here at our location,” the GoFundMe page states. “This is a serious hardship for the business and there are many decisions to be made and many people affected, including our loyal customers.”
As of Tuesday morning, the GoFundMe raised $1,555 of its $30,000 goal. The page states that Lynne will still conduct cooking classes, cater to private events and write a cookbook as the business finds a forever home.
“All we can say is that we will persevere,” Lynne wrote. “I’m very passionate about what I do. I will find another way. Owning a small business is never easy. For those that know me, it has been a lot of hard work and this summer has been particularly trying. This is the icing on the cake and I must accept the change the universe is bringing upon me.”
Lynne opened Table for 7 in 2020, serving farm-to-table cuisine.
