DETROIT LAKES 鈥� A Fergus Falls man died in a motorcycle-van crash Saturday afternoon in Otter Tail County, about four miles northeast of the city of Elizabeth.
Michael Wayne Korby, 39, of Fergus Falls was southbound on County Road 22 on a 2008 Yamaha motorcycle.

Based on witness statements and evidence collected at the scene, Korby collided with a northbound 2013 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter FedEx delivery van that turned left in front of him at Jewett Lake Road and caused the crash, according to the Otter Tail County Sheriff鈥檚 Office.
When first responders arrived, they found that Korby had suffered fatal injuries in the collision.
The driver of the van, Jabob Tyler Wells, 26, of West Fargo, was not injured, and was issued a citation, according to the Otter Tail County Sheriff鈥檚 Office.
The accident was reported shortly before 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 22.
The Minnesota State Patrol, Elizabeth Fire Department, Ringdahl Ambulance Service of Fergus Fall, and Beyer Towing of Fergus Falls assisted at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
