BEMIDJI — As of Monday, July 7, chip seal operations are underway on several routes throughout Beltrami County.
"Chip sealing operations include application of a liquid emulsion to the road, covering it with small rock, rolling the rock into the oil with heavy rollers, and applying a final liquid emulsion to prolong the life of the road," a release explained.
