TYLER, Minn. 鈥� A school bus driver was found deceased Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2022, while waiting for the MACCRAY High 歪歪漫画's girls basketball team, according to a statement from Tyler Interim Police Chief Alexander Anderson.
According to Anderson, the driver, Jean Waltz, was waiting on the bus during basketball games between MACCRAY and Russell Tyler Ruthton High 歪歪漫画 from approximately 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday. The MACCRAY 歪歪漫画 District's bus service is provided by the Palmer Bus Company of Clara City, Minn.

An unresponsive Waltz was discovered by the girls basketball team members around 8 p.m., and the team members ran back to the school to call 911.
The Tyler Police Department, Tyler Ambulance and Tyler Fire Department responded to assist in CPR and to transport her to Avera Tyler Hospital to continue resuscitation efforts. Once at the Avera Tyler ER, life-saving efforts continued to be unsuccessful.
"After reviewing the school bus camera, when there is light it appears there is nothing out of the ordinary with the deceased individual. There is no visible activity on camera again during the dark until first responders arrive," Anderson wrote.
The cause of death is pending an autopsy review by the Ramsey County Medical Examiners Office.
Palmer Bus Service has been the bus service company for the MACCRAY 歪歪漫画 District since 1997, according to the company's website.
