MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - A Minnesota egg producer searched by federal homeland security agents on Tuesday says it complies with federal immigration laws.
The statement from Sparboe Farms in Litchfield comes hours after authorities announced that 10 people had been arrested there on administrative charges - a tool often used to detain possible illegal immigrants.

Sparboe's statement says authorities executed search warrants, but the company has no additional information about them.
Sparboe spokesman Chuck Sanger says the company isn't aware of anything other than immigration issues that might be of concern. He says Sparboe follows immigration laws. He says no food safety concerns have been raised.
Sparboe is one of the largest shell egg producers and marketers in the United States.
