Mississippi Music kicks off 9th season with Rich Mattson and the Northstars

The ninth season of Mississippi Music got underway on Wednesday evening as music enthusiasts congregated at the Lake Bemidji Waterfront for a performance by Rich Mattson and the Northstars.

BEMIDJI — The ninth season of Mississippi Music got underway on Wednesday evening as music enthusiasts congregated at the Lake Bemidji Waterfront for a performance by Rich Mattson and the Northstars.

Mississippi Music concerts start at 6 p.m. on Wednesdays and there is no admission charge. Food and beverage trucks will be on site and attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.

  • July 9: Mike Gunther and the Total Crapshoot
  • July 16: Boiled in Lead
  • July 23: The New Havoline Supremes
  • Aug. 6: The Brothers Burn Mountain
  • Aug. 13: Known Only Locally
