Bemidji Area Church Musicians kicks off summer recital series June 5

BEMIDJI 鈥� The 37th season of the Bemidji Area Church Musicians Summer Recital Series begins at noon on Wednesday, June 5, at St. Bartholomew鈥檚 Episcopal Church, 1800 Irvine Ave. NW.

The recital will feature the First City Handbell Choir under the direction of Carol L. Johnson and Vicki L. Stenerson. The bell ringers will present a variety of selections, a release said.

The next concert in the series will be held at noon on Wednesday, June 12, at St. Mark鈥檚 Lutheran Church, 2220 Anne St. NW. The recital will feature musicians of the St. Mark鈥檚 congregation performing a number of selections in a variety of styles.

A luncheon will follow the 30-minute recitals with a price to be announced.
