Midco Foundation donates $7,000 to American Red Cross for storm recovery

The Midco Foundation recently donated $7,000 to the American Red Cross to assist with recovery efforts in Bemidji and Jamestown, N.D.

The Midco Foundation recently donated $7,000 to the American Red Cross to assist with recovery efforts in Bemidji and Jamestown, N.D.

Midco crews have been working to restore service in Bemidji. Small teams of two to four crew members have been working 12 to 14-hour shifts to make repairs and ensure a complete cleanup, a release said.

"Despite the long hours, team spirit remains strong, and the volume of repairs and replacements completed this week has been nothing short of incredible," Midco Vice President of Field Engineering and Construction Cole Mack said in the release.

According to the release, 12-15 additional team members and 4-5 extra bucket trucks have been in Bemidji each day assisting with restoration efforts.

"When disaster strikes, we’re all one Midco family working together to help the community," Midco President and Chief Operating Officer Ben Dold noted in the release.
