All community members and area businesses are invited to participate in the annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive on Saturday, May 10, to benefit the Bemidji Community Food Shelf.
Delta Kappa Gamma Mu Chapter President Kate Pearson and Treasurer Deb Rossman recently presented donations to the Bemidji Community Food Shelf and the United Way of Bemidji Area.
Sponsored by the National Association of Letter Carriers and United Way of Bemidji Area, the Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive collected 1,260 pounds of food and $125 for the Bemidji Community Food Shelf.
Ed Patrias of Bemidji started dreaming about this river trip when he was a 20-year-old rookie forester cruising timber in Idaho with the U.S. Forest Service.
