Ribbon-cutting ceremony marks official grand opening of Bemidji's 7 Brew

As part of the event, 7 Brew presented a $2,000 donation to Great River Rescue.

BEMIDJI — Bemidji's newest drive-thru coffee shop, 7 Brew, held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday afternoon, marking the opening of the franchise's first Minnesota location.

During the event, representatives with the Bemidji Area Chamber of Commerce gave a warm welcome to Max Wilson, owner of the Minnesota and North Dakota franchise rights for 7 Brew, and other members of the crew before officially cutting the ribbon on the shop.

7 Brew franchise owner Max Wilson remembers visiting Bemidji with his family on vacation trips to Lakes Country.

Following the ribbon cutting, 7 Brew presented a $2,000 donation to Great River Rescue.

"We are excited to partner with 7 Brew as they open their first stand in Minnesota, and we wish them much success," Marina Lovell, executive director of Great River Rescue, said in a release. "We are very grateful for the generous donation, which will allow us to continue providing excellent care for our shelter pets who need a home in our community, and we and our cats and dogs thank them for this partnership and donation."

Located at 1709 Paul Bunyan Drive NW, 7 Brew offers coffee, smoothies, teas, chillers and 7 Energy, an energy drink that can be infused with many flavor combinations.
