She was named to the 2024 Minnesota Class 2A Ms. Soccer by the Minnesota State High ÍáÍáÂþ»­ Soccer Coaches Association.</p> <br> <br> <p>Burkstrand scored 62 goals during the 2024 season, breaking the Minnesota state single-season scoring record. Her stellar performance pushed St. Cloud Tech to its first Minnesota State Tournament appearance since 2001.</p> <br> <br> <p>Burkstrand was a First Team All-State selection in 2024 and a Second Team All-State selection in 2023. She was also a member of the National Honor Society and Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll.</p> <br> <br> <p>Burkstrand helped the North Oaks Soccer Club (NOSC Blast) to a USYS National Championship.</p> <br> <br> <p>Born on May 9, 2007, to Peter and Kristina, Burkstrand enjoys hockey, shopping, cleaning, hanging out with friends and family and traveling. She is a three-year letter winner for Blackhawks girls soccer, girls basketball and girls golf.</p> <br> <br> <p>As a defender, Czajkowski Higgins was named the South West Conference Co-Player of the Year in 2023 and 2024. She was also a Wisconsin ODP Regional Team selection in 2023 and a two-time All-State Team selection in 2023 and 2024.</p> <br> <br> <p>Further accolades for Czajkowski Higgins included three All-Conference selections, an All-State Honorable Mention and All-Conference selections in basketball and golf.</p> <br> <br> <p>Czajkowski Higgins is a member of the National Honor Society, High Honor Roll Achievements and earned Academic All-State selection.</p> <br> <br> <p>She was named the captain of the Rush Wisconsin West club soccer team from 2017-24 and was a multiple all-region selection.</p> <br> <br> <p>Czajkowski Higgins was born to Michael Higgins and Lara Czajkowski Higgins on July 26, 2007. She enjoys basketball, golf, boating, campfires and hanging out with friends and family when not on the pitch. She is a leader by example.&rdquo;</p> <br> Maya Johnson, Southwest Christian/Legacy FC <p>Johnson played forward for Southwest Christian High ÍáÍáÂþ»­ girls soccer, earning two All-State, All-State Tournament team nods and three All-Wright County Conference selections. She helped the Stars along to their runner-up finish in the 2024 Class A Minnesota State Tournament, scoring 26 goals and 15 assists in her senior season. In 2023, she scored 36 goals and 18 assists.</p> <br> <br> <p>A letter winner in both soccer and track, Johnson is also a member of the National Honor Society and earned Academic All-State Team nods in 2023 and 2024. Outside of prep soccer, Johnson played for the Legacy FC in club soccer.</p> <br> <br> <p>Johnson plans to major in biology or chemistry at Bemidji State and enjoys lifting, running, being with family and friends and watching football. Playing in net for Lakeville North, Kropp was named to the Minnesota State All-Tournament Team in 2023 and helped the team to a Minnesota Class 3A State Tournament appearance.</p> <br> <br> <p>With Lakeville Soccer Club, Kropp was a two-time captain and helped the team to a National Tournament appearance.</p> <br> <br> <p>Kropp was born on July 6, 2007, to Steve and Leah Kropp. Off the pitch, she enjoys reading, spending time on the lake and hanging out with friends and family. In soccer, Kvant was a defender and team captain in 2024 for the Knights. She helped the program to three Minnesota Class 3A State Tournament Appearances and earned an Honorable Mention selection for the All-Lake Conference.</p> <br> <br> <p>In club soccer, she helped the NOSC Blast to a third-place finish at nationals.</p> <br> <br> <p>Kvant athletic success did not come solely in soccer. She was a captain of the wrestling team, where she placed third in the State Tournament, made two Class 3A State appearances and was voted All-State Most Improved.</p> <br> <br> <p>In track and field, Kvant was a two-time captain, voted hardest worker and placed first in the state in the 4x200.</p> <br> <br> <p>Additionally, Kvant was named the EXCEL State Award winner and STMA Student-Athlete of the year.</p> <br> <br> <p>Kvant enjoys reading, Bible study, sewing, working out, coaching and volunteering. At Bemidji State, she plans to major in pre-medicine with an emphasis in biochemistry, molecular and cellular biology. She has a great upside and we are blessed to sign her.&rdquo;</p> <br> Olivia Seurer, St. Michael-Albertville/Boreal FC <p>Seurer is a four-year letter winner for STMA girls soccer, helping the program to three Minnesota Class 3A State Tournament appearances. In club soccer, she helped Boreal FC to a USYS National League Premier 1 appearance, USYS Region Group semifinals and a MYSA Premier 1 League Championship.</p> <br> <br> <p>Daughter of Travis and Beth Seurer, she was born on Nov. 27, 2006. Her father played baseball at NDSU. Seurer enjoys hanging out with friends and shopping off the pitch and plans to major in exercise science while attending BSU.</p> <br> <br> <p>&ldquo;Olivia brings a lot of positive energy into a room, onto a field and into our program,&rdquo; Stone said. &ldquo;We are so happy that she has chosen to come here. She enjoys designing art projects, working with kids and shopping. All first-team selections will now move on to the national ballot for D2CCA All-America accolades.</p> <br> <br> <p>Barthelt, a Bartlett, Ill., native, scored the most goals in the NSIC regular season with 11 and also paced the conference in points (25) and shots on goal (28). Barthelt was named the NSIC Offensive Player of the Week three times during the season and scored a goal in nine of the Beavers' 18 matches. Addison Clarey corralled a turnover just beyond the box, crept forward and booted a shot left past goalkeeper Sonia Alfieri to give her team a 1-0 lead on an unassisted goal.</p> <br> <br> <p>That first-half goal didn&#8217;t necessarily spell doom for the hosting Beavers, though.
