Karl and his parents live in Akeley and make the trip to Bemidji Speedway each Sunday to race.

“I grew up watching my dad race and fell in love with the sport,” he continued. “I enjoy the adrenaline rush and the challenge of racing as the youngest at the track”.

Karl's goal this year is to finish each race and achieve new goals as they come to him. He races in the very competitive Wissota Pure Stock class and currently sits in 16th place in points.

Races return to the Bemidji Speedway at 5 p.m. on Sunday, July 13.
