Stone, Johnson and Heuer push Jacks to clean-sheet win over Denfeld

The Bemidji High ÍáÍáÂþ»­ boys soccer team got back on track with a clean sheet win over Duluth Denfeld on Saturday.

BEMIDJI – The Bemidji High ÍáÍáÂþ»­ boys soccer team got back on track with a clean sheet win over Duluth Denfeld on Saturday.

The Lumberjacks picked up a 4-0 win to improve to 2-2-1, ending a three-game winless streak.

Austin Riewer scored in the sixth minute before Isaac Stone buried his first of two goals in the 35th. Reed Johnson, who assisted on Riewer’s tally, scored in the 53rd minute before Stone made it 4-0 in the 55th.

Kellen Heuer finished with seven saves in goal for BHS. Johnson posted a goal and two assists.
