BUFFALO – The Bemidji High ÍáÍáÂþ»­ girls soccer team suffered a heartbreaker in its season-opening match.

The Lumberjacks lost to Buffalo 3-2, thanks to a hat trick from Natalie Flynn. The Bison’s standout forward scored in the 15th, 46th and 77th minutes, pushing Buffalo to a win.

The Jacks scored in the fourth minute on Alivia Thompson’s strike, then again in the 53rd minute on a tying goal from Kate Corradi.
