Lumberjacks held scoreless in loss to Grand Rapids

The Bemidji High ÍáÍáÂþ»­ girls soccer team put nine shots on frame, but came away scoreless in a Tuesday evening loss to Grand Rapids.

GRAND RAPIDS – The Bemidji High ÍáÍáÂþ»­ girls soccer team couldn’t quite find a way past goalkeeper Maggie Maclean in a 2-0 loss in Grand Rapids Tuesday evening.

Maclean made nine saves on the night. Lumberjacks' goalkeeper Clara Bieber made six on the other side of the field for the Lumberjacks.

Taelyn Cash’s clean-up rebound gave Grand Rapids a lead just six minutes in. An own goal after a crosser from Ava Limberg tacked on another goal in the 43rd minute for the Thunderhawks.
