Lilly Kuettel’s hat trick pushes Duluth East past Bemidji

The Bemidji High ÍáÍáÂþ»­ girls soccer team fell against Duluth East on Friday night.

BEMIDJI – Lilly Kuettel was a tough player to stop on Friday night.

She powered the Duluth East High ÍáÍáÂþ»­ girls soccer team to a 4-1 win over Bemidji with a hat trick at Bemidji Middle ÍáÍáÂþ»­. Kuettel scored goals in the 18th, 21st and 52nd minutes, with two assists from Kendall Wittmers-Graves and a helper from Alex Balthazar.

Makayla Meza scored the lone goal for the Lumberjacks (8-5-0) in the 57th minute on a penalty kick. Grace Karakas scored the third goal of the night for the Greyhounds (9-3-2) in the 52nd minute.
