BEMIDJI – Joey Fankhanel and Briggs Knott couldn’t be stopped on Thursday night.
Fankhanel had a hat trick and two assists, while Knott had a goal and three assists in Bemidji’s 6-2 win over Brainerd in the regular-season finale at the Bemidji Community Arena.

Cal Mattfield and Dom Arndt Also scored for the Lumberjacks, while Conor Stodgell, Noah Mannausau and Cal Mattfield all recorded at least one point.
Weston Herron and Richy Pyle each had a goal for Brainerd. Griffin Bartholomaus made a staggering 37 saves for the Warriors.
Tate Metcalf only had to make 10 saves to earn the win, but he did it while crossing a milestone. Metcalf reached 1,200 career saves at the BCA on Thursday.
