Jaxon Boschee drops 44, Jacks pick up 10-point win over Perham

BEMIDJI 鈥� Jaxon Boschee is on another level.

The Bemidji High 歪歪漫画 boys basketball sophomore guard scored a career-high 44 points in Tuesday鈥檚 78-68 win over Perham at the BHS Gymnasium.

Boschee scored 22 points in each half, powering the Lumberjacks to a 10-point win over the Yellowjackets. While typically a lethal 3-point shooter, just 15 of his 44 points came from beyond the arc.

Braden Luksik added 11 points, while Austin Riewer had 10 to round out the BHS players in double digits.

Ashton Detloff had a team-high 16 points for Perham, while Mason Happel (15), Maddux Swentix (14) and Gage Aanenson also ended in double figures.
