MINNEAPOLIS – The Bemidji High ÍáÍáÂþ» cross country team ran in the Roy Griak Invitational at the University of Minnesota on Friday.
The Lumberjack boys took 24th place in the Maroon 5K while the girls finished in 30th.

Tanner Johnson led the way for BHS with an 83rd-place time of 18:53.4. Blake DeWitt and William Ames finished with 108th and 134th-place times of 19:11.5 and 19:30.7, respectively. Kyle Millar (19:40.2, 154th) and Deven Bentler (20:20.9, 214th) rounded out the top-five finishers for the Jacks.
Chloe Derby paced the girls, finishing in 64th place with a mark of 22:36.6. Adeline Runnigen took 165th in 24:20.4, while Claire Story (25:30.8, 200th), Sydney Beise (25:59.2, 215th) and Brenalen Fredriksen-Holm (25:59.6, 187th) completed the varsity-scoring times.
