HERMANTOWN -- The Bemidji High ÍáÍáÂþ» girls basketball team scored its largest victory of the season on Tuesday, defeating Hermantown 75-47 on the road.
The Lumberjacks (7-10) rode a huge first half to assume a comfortable cushion. Beth Bolte poured in 18 first-half points, leading BHS to a 46-24 advantage after the opening 18 minutes.

Eight different players scored for Bemidji in the second half, piling on another six points to the lead by game’s end.
In all, 10 Jacks scored to help secure a 28-point win. It is the team’s largest margin of victory since March 2021.
Bolte finished the night with 23 points, while Jackie Johnson joined her in double figures with 15 points of her own. Marlee Bieber and Jody Pemberton also chipped in eight points apiece.
Liv Birkeland tallied 21 points to pace the Hawks (6-15).
BHS can add to its two-game win streak when it faces Sartell-St. Stephen at 7:15 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 11, in Sartell.
