Clara Bieber earns 12 saves, Bemidji blanked in road loss to Duluth East

DULUTH – The Bemidji High ÍáÍáÂþ»­ girls soccer team couldn’t crack Duluth East’s defense in a 2-0 loss on Saturday.

Goalkeeper Clara Bieber did her best to keep the game within reach, making 10 saves in the first half and two in the second.

Duluth East opened scoring in the 29th minute on a cross from the right and tacked onto its lead later on in the 76th with a breakaway shot.

Duluth East 2, Bemidji 0

DE – 1 1 – 2

Bemidji – No scoring.
