DETROIT LAKES – The Bemidji High ÍáÍáÂþ» cross country team traveled to Detroit Lakes for their second meet of the season on Thursday evening.
The Lumberjack boys took fifth place in the DL Rotary Invite, led by Blake Dewitt’s 18:00.3 time for 21st place. William Ames (18:19.1) and Kyle Millar (18:24.5) also finished in the top 30, placing 27th and 29th, respectively.

Sam Urban (39th, 19:01.1), Deven Bentler (43rd, 19:11.9), Dylan Gunkel (50th, 19:30.2) and William Lohse (55th, 19:56.2) also competed in the race.
The Bemidji girls placed just outside the top ten, collecting 276 points for 11th. Chloe Derby earned the Jacks’ best time, notching 24th in 21:13.2.
Claire Story (62nd, 24:18.8), Adeline Runnigen (69th, 24:53.0), Sydney Beise (73rd, 25:45.1) and Brenalen Fredriksen-Holm (74th, 25:45.2) rounded out the Jacks’ five scores.
