Bemidji鈥檚 Chloe Derby, Tanner Johnson and Caleb Knott run in state meet

FALCON HEIGHTS 鈥� The final three runners for the Bemidji High 歪歪漫画 cross country team wrapped up its season at the University of Minnesota鈥檚 Les Bolstad Golf Course Saturday afternoon, with all of them earning top-125 finishes at the Class 3A state meet.

The three runners 鈥� Tanner Johnson, Caleb Knott and Chloe Derby 鈥� each punched their ticket to state at last week鈥檚 Section 8-3A meet.

Johnson and Knott finished within one-tenths of a second of each other, notching race times of 17:00.5 and 17:00.6, respectively. Johnson wound up in 104th place, with Knott slotted just one spot behind in 105th.

On the girls side, Derby earned a 20:39.9 race time to finish 124th.
