Beavers finish 9th at Augustana Spring Invite

The Bemidji State women's golf team finished ninth at the Augustana Spring Invitational on Monday and Tuesday.

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — The Bemidji State women’s golf team finished ninth at the Augustana Spring Invitational held at the Elmwood Golf Course in Sioux Falls, South Dakota on Monday and Tuesday.

The Beavers combined for a team score of 710, including a 10-stroke improvement on the second day. Host institution Augustana won the tournament team title with a score of 632 while Sioux Falls finished second (637).

BSU was led by sophomore Haylee Kammann who shot 169 and tied for 30th individually. She was followed by freshman Sarah Sroga who shot 178 and placed 49th. Freshman Lauren Kammann followed at 181 with Isabella Depew (9185), Bailey Tilley (188) and Nakomis Mitchell (197) rounding out the Beavers’ competitors at the event.

Bemidji State now prepares for their final tournament of the regular season before the NSIC Championships, which begins on April 25. The Beavers will travel to Wayne, Nebraska to compete at the Wildcat Classic April 14-15.
