Alivia Thompson scores 2, Bemidji comfortably defeats Detroit Lakes

DETROIT LAKES – The Bemidji High ÍáÍáÂþ»­ girls soccer team scored four goals in the first half and tacked on one more in the second to comfortably defeat Detroit Lakes on the road Thursday evening.

Alivia Thompson netted the first two goals of the night, scoring in the fourth and seventh minutes, with assists from Kate Corradi on both.

Thompson added an assist to the stat sheet on the Lumberjacks’ third goal, scored by Raeghan Baird in the 15th minute.

Evie Ekhoff added one more goal to Bemidji’s first-half lead in the 34th minute, cashing in on a give-and-go from Stella Schoonover.

The Jacks’ fifth and final goal of the night was an own goal in the 69th minute.

Hayden Seitz and Clara Bieber split goaltending duties for Bemidji’s clean sheet in net.
