2nd-half score draws Spuds even with Lumberjacks

BEMIDJI – Moorhead’s goal in the 51st minute brought Thursday’s match with the Bemidji High ÍáÍáÂþ»­ boys soccer team level.

The score went final almost a half hour later at 2-2 at Bemidji Middle ÍáÍáÂþ»­. Abdi Ibrahim’s equalizer capped an even Section 8-3A match.

Isaac Stone put the Lumberjacks (6-2-3) ahead 1-0 in the fifth minute. Parker Gast tied the game late in the first half on a penalty kick before Charlie Zellmann scored for BHS in the 43rd minute. Ibrahim scored the game-tying goal eight minutes later.

Kellen Heuer made four saves for BHS. Ben Pratt stopped six shots for the Spuds (2-6-2).
