FARGO, N.D. - Fifteen Bemidji Youth Soccer teams traveled to Fargo, North Dakota, over the weekend to play in the Tri City Summer Classic Tournament.
Six out of the 15 teams were ages 9-10, playing under a jamboree format. Three of the 15 teams made it to the championship, with two of them – the U11 boys and U16 girls – taking first place. Both teams also took first place at the All-American Cup in Blaine two weeks ago.

The U11 boys went 4-0 over the weekend, outscoring their opponents 22-7 through four games en route to first place.
The U16 girls finished the weekend 3-0-1, tying St. Michael-Albertville’s record. Bemidji’s plus-9 goal differential was the difference to claim first place, as St. Michael-Albertville had a plus-7 goal differential.
