BEMIDIJ — Pheasants Forever will hold a meeting at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 11, at Lazy Jack’s, 6735 Fairgrounds Road NW, to discuss launching a new chapter in the Bemidji area.
Pheasants Forever is a grassroots, volunteer, membership-based organization with a mission to conserve pheasants, quail and other wildlife through habitat improvements, public access, education and conservation advocacy, a release said.

"It's Pheasants Forever’s vision that current and future generations of hunters and conservationists are able to enjoy abundant populations of wild pheasants, quail and other wildlife," explained the release.
The meeting is open to anyone interested in learning more about how they can be a part of developing wildlife habitat projects, conducting youth and adult conservation events in the community and belonging to a national organization with a voice regarding state and federal conservation policy.
